April 2010 - The Otems Family Home Work Event

- Installed high efficiency clothes washer
- Sealed the A/C vent boots
- Repaired and weatherstripped door

- Repaired ceiling fan
- Converted toilet to low flush

March 2010 - Solar PV Installation

- Installed 3.2-kW solar-PV array
- In partnership with Austin Community College

March 2010 - The Torres Family Home Work Event (Dallas, TX)

  - Replaced dishwasher
  - Replaced 2 a/c window units
  - Replaced 2 electric heaters
  - Replaced glass in 2 windows
  - Replaced front storm door
  - Weather-tight holes in exterior structure
  - Blew in insulation in attic
  - Clean out, rehung and adjusted gutters and installed leaf guards.
  - Installed rain cistern
  - Repaired electrical communications box
  - Weather-strip front and back doors
  - Vented dryer to exterior
  - Sealed around all windows and plumbing accesses
  - Recaulk bathtub
  - Secured shower enclosure glass panel
  - Replaced incandescent bulbs with CFLs
  - Installed the outlet and switch insulation gaskets
- Installed 2 power strips
- Replaced kitchen faucet
- Installed low-flow shower head
- Painted storage shed

March 2010 - The Trejo Family Home Work Event

- Installed Energy Star refrigerator
- Installed high efficiency clothes washer
- Cleaned gutters and installed gutter guards
- Installed rain water cistern
- Cut and trimmed trees
- Installed raised bed vegetable garden
- Replaced incandescent bulbs with CFLs

December 2009 - The Robledo Family Home Work Event

- Replace gas stove
- Install energy star refrigerator 

- Seal vent in left cabinet (opens to attic)
- Caulk bathtub
- Weather-strip attic access
- Seal around all windows
- Seal the A/C boots
- Add insulation to attic
- Install gutters
- Clean HVAC return
- Reseal mastic/tape at furnace
- Install digital thermostat
- Add another intake for the hot water heater
- Replace incandescent bulbs with CFLs
- Install insulation covers to all external outlets and switches
- Replace kitchen faucet

- Install low flush toilet
- Install low-flow shower head
- Replace leaky bathroom faucet

November 2009 - The Ford Family Home Work Event

 -  Install energy star refrigerator
 -  Insulate attic from R-7 to R-38
 -  Isolate furnace closet from conditioned area of house
 -  Unblock return grill in guest bedroom
 -  Seal pipe penetrations and hole under kitchen sink
 -  Seal missing window in living room
 -  Seal the A/C supply vent boots to the sheetrock
 -  Gasket and foam wire penetrations at all light switches and outlets
 -  Caulk and / or weatherstrip windows.
 -  Doorway weatherstripping
 -  Install low flush toilet
 -  Replace incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs
 -  Repair gate
 -  Repair washing machine drain
 -  Repair soffit
